I love\*\* Tom the Dancing Bug\*\*, a weekly comic. [http://www.gocomics.com/tomthedancingbug/](http://www.gocomics.com/tomthedancingbug/) > **[Tom the Dancing Bug](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_the_dancing_bug)** > > Tom the Dancing Bug is a weekly satirical comic strip by cartoonist and political commentator Ruben Bolling that covers mostly US current events from a liberal point of view. Tom the Dancing Bug won the 2002, 2003, 2007, 2008, and 2009 Association of Alternative Newsweeklies Awards for Best Cartoon. The strip was awarded the 2010 Sigma Delta Chi Award for editorial cartooning by the Society of Professional Journalists and best cartoon in the 2018 Robert F. [QUOTE=Dervorin] For a quirky, geeky, offbeat strip, I recommend [UserFriendly](http://www.userfriendly.org). [/QUOTE] That is my favorite these days. ---

I would have to recommend: [Sheldon](http://www.sheldoncomics.com) [Real Life](http://www.reallifecomics.com) [Two Lumps](http://www.twolumps.net) These, in addtion to Penny Arcade and occasional checks on Ghastly’s Ghastly Comic (which I simply won’t link to… Oh, okay, [here](http://www.ghastlycomic.com/) , but it’s in no way shape or form safe for work, so don’t say I didn’t warn you. I used to read Judge Parker a lot too, but that got too mind-numbing after a while. ---

I’ll second the vote for _The Adventures of Dr. McNinja_, and also add my own recommendation for [The Holy Bibble](http://www.holybibble.net/). In a slightly less blasphemous tone, [The Brick Testament](http://www.thebricktestament.com/) is also well worth checking out. ---

[Perry Bible Fellowship](http://www.pbfcomics.com/) is my favorite. It’s wonderfully surreal, with subtle but often sick humor. ---

[Spamusement](http://www.spamusement.com/) has some funny stuff. The main comic is rarely updated these days, but there’s a [Guest Strips](http://www.spamusement.com/) forum where you’ll run across all manner of weirdness. Each thread is a separate cartoon. Since it’s open to anyone who wants to submit a cartoon, quality is very uneven, but I enjoy it. ---

[Achewood](http://www.achewood.com) I really like it, but it’s very quirky. [XKCD](http://xkcd.com) if you’re at all science/math geeky. [Bob the Angry Flower](http://www.angryflower.com) for a weekly surrealist bit of humor. ---

A favorite of mine was Franklin Fibbs. Each day the guy would spin an ourageous yarn or boast and then end it with a gag. But it was just dropped by King syndicate for only reaching 10 actual newspapers. But many survive and each one you can find on the web is gold. ---

I like [Arlo and Janis](http://arloandjanis.com/). The cartoonist really enjoys his work and knows not to take himself too seriously. And Ludwig is the best cat in comicdom! He’s also the reason I discovered Sluggy Freelance for which I am eternally grateful. Also, two Lego inspired comics: [Irregular Webcomic](http://www.irregularwebcomic.net/) [Legostar Galactica](http://legostargalactica.comicgen.com/) And this one is the best steampunk I’ve ever seen - [Girl Genius](http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/index.php). It’s probably the winner of which fantasy world I would love to live in. Also gotta second Sheldon. Barkeater Lake has its moments too. ---
