Congratulations on the newest addition to your family, **Athena**. Now you’ll be **Tupug**. I suggest you live with the puppy for a day or so to get an idea of his personality before you name him. Time to go shopping for teething toys. Good luck!

Congrats!
I like **Leo** or **Humphrey** or **Winston**. Nice old fashion names that have dignity.

Immediately thought of “Archie”.
What about “Wharton”? (“Wart” for short)

And another vote for Beagles! Just beware of those sad, brown “feed me” eyes…

Springers are small dogs?? As a person who snuggles with 42-pound Dottie on top of my chest every evening (“Come on up, Dottie (plop) UNNGH!”), I would have to disagree with that characterization.

The late great Miss Emily was only 35 pounds at her fighting weight, but she was the runt of the litter. Dottie and Phyllis’s sire was 55 pounds at last meeting.

Good luck with the new pup, **Athena.** Having sibling dogs is great!
