# Recommend a financial news/personal finance blog

Anyone have recommendations on good blogs for financial news and/or personal finance info? My google searches are turning up mucho quantity, but I’m unsure of the quality of the initial suggestions it provides.

What type of information are you looking for?

The three most obvious are:

[Marketwatch](http://www.marketwatch.com)  
[Bloomberg](http://www.bloomberg.com)  
[CNBC](http://www.cnbc.com)  
There is also:  
[The Street.com](http://www.thestreet.com)  
[New York Times’ Financial section (registration required)](http://www.nytimes.com)

There are also the markets themselves:  
[New York Stock Exchange](http://www.nyse.com)  
[NYMEX](http://www.nymex.com/index.aspx)  
[To learn about options](http://www.888options.com/)  
[Chicago Board of Trade/Chicago Mercantile Exchange](http://www.cbot.com/)  
[NASDAQ](http://www.nasdaq.com/)

You can reach the \*Wall Street Journal \* and \*Barrons \* from the Marketwatch site. Most of their content isn’t free, however.

I should have been more specific in the OP. I have a job interview next week with a major online trading company, and part of the job would involve monitoring what is said about the company in prominent blogs related to finance, the markets, etc.
