I don’t care if it’s bluetooth or wired, it just needs to have good sound quality and be affordable. I’ve had a bluetooth headset in the past (years ago) that people would always complain about not being able to understand me, so I’m leaning toward wired… Recommendations? ---

If you go for bluetooth, look for one that has a separate on/off switch. A lot of them have a single button that basically does everything. Press once to answer a call. Press twice quickly to redial the last number. Press-and-hold to turn it off. As you can imagine, I’ve accidentally redialled people on numerous occasions. It’s a major annoyance. That said, another thing to look for is one that has the same charger plug as your phone. If your phone takes a mini-usb connector, get a headset that does the same. That means you only have to have one charger with you. I bought an LG bluetooth headset for that very reason, when I carried an LG headphone. Now that I have a car stereo with bluetooth built in, I don’t use it any more. That’s a surprisingly nice feature to have if you’re ever upgrading your sound system. But it isn’t a cheap option!
