When I took over part of the lease of a friend’s apartment, which meant that two amateur horticulturalists moved out and I moved in, which meant that an entire balcony of potted plants was left in the care of three guys whose thumbs were not only not green, but were in fact black and rotting, kalanchoe was the only thing that survived. One of my roommates had been given a cutting of it when he moved away from home, being told no matter what he did it would survive, and indeed it did. If you keep it in the sunlight, and away from fire or caustic soda or something, it should do pretty well.
I don’t think you believe that baby birds were eaten by my spider plant. I don’t remember my plant being geneticly modified.
Spider plants come as varigated or non-varigated only. A good way to visualy detect the plant is in need of water is the foliage will turn a light green. It goes back to a healthy green when watered.
My memory returns a bit at a time. The varigated plants can be white and green, or yellow and green. I prefer the plain solid green.
Hey, my favourite movie as a kid was ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ - you’d be surprised what I believe!
No, really, though…I was just poking fun.
