We are thinking of trying to do a house swap over the winter break, looking at Edinburgh or London for our first choice (being lazy about language admittedly), followed by Paris or Amsterdam for 2nd choice. Big cities with tourist stuff to interest ages 9, 17, and 40 somethings. We have a 3 bedroom house in Southern California - so it should be a decent trade we hope. Anyone used house swap websites that they can recommend? (private inquiries by Dopers also welcome in a PM). ---

The one I’ve heard of is [sabbatical.com](http://sabbatical.com) but I don’t have any personal experience with it. ---
