Recommend a small, short-haired dog who would be good with cats

Based on experience, do not get a dachshund. Their hereditary desire to chase small furry things that run is extremely difficult to overcome.

I belong to the DogRead mailing list and January’s author was Patricia Kelly who wrote a book called Nuts and Bolts Book for all IG Lovers.

If you’re thinking of an Iggy, you may want to pick up this book. I was so impressed by the author that I plan on doing so.

Corgis, corgis, corgis! At one time we had five corgies and two cats and everyone got along just fine. We started w/two corgis, gained a cat, had puppies & gained another cat, so they were introduced to each other at different stages. In my opinion corgis are the perfect urban house dogs. They are not yappy or diggers; they are smart and easily trained. Corgis and cats work very well together.
