Another space based TBS game, and one that has sucked up more of my time than any other TBS combined, is Space Empires IV. It’s nothing to look at but it’s a hell of a lot of fun to play, very addictive. You can download it from Steam for $10.

It’s also easily mod-able if you like that kind of thing. There are many better AI mods out there.

Sean O’Connor’s Windows Games occupy some of my sleepless hours. Slay is a very simple hex based strategy castle builder that I’ve toyed with for years.
