recommend an adventure/rpg PC game

I’ve peeked at their forums, and Armagan does come through and address people’s suggestions. The community seems well built, although I haven’t much looked at the mods.

Leadership also affects the size, although it is dependent on charisma. Doesn’t renown affect the size too, though? It seems your army size increases after winning big battles sometimes.

I wish the stats stacked. There’s one companion that has 7 points in inventory management, and they’re all wasted because she doesn’t have an inventory and it isn’t given to your character.

Two games I would recommend are Divine Divinity (Think Diablo II only with more focus on a main story and quests) and another vote for Mount & Blade.

Grim Fandango looks really interesting. I might try Psychonauts first, since it’s available on Steam.

Fallout looks like fun too.

I suppose my biggest problem will be getting my hands on all these games. On the English versions, no less. (The translations in the Korean versions are shit - I once played NWN in Korean, and the nurses’ standard comforting “there, there” dialogue had been translated into “there” as in the opposite of “here.” :dubious: )

It’s off to ebay for me.

If you’re looking for Psychonauts, you may wish to note that GameTap appears to be just giving it away:

I have no idea what the catch is, but they also appear to be just giving away Deus Ex:

Hell, yah, I forgot about Divine Divinity. Equal share of puzzle solving, quests and hack and slash, all neatly done. But beware of bugs in quests! I love the barter trade system in the game, the music - though the mechanics are bit strange (till now I have no idea what the damage notation on the weapons mean).

But Beyond Divinity is not as good. Get the first one in the series and pay no mind to its potentially lame name
