# Recommend an asp.net web host

I currently use VerveHosting, recommend by someone or other here on the SDMB long ago. I don’t have any problems with their service, but the don’t offer [ASP.NET](http://ASP.NET).

Google of course brings up dozens of web hosting places, but I want some recommendations. In general, they seem to be pricier than \*nix based solutions.

What I’m looking for:

[ASP.NET](http://ASP.NET) 2.0  
SQL Server 2005 (I could probably live with SQL 2K)  
Don’t need a lot of space/bandwidth - maybe small to medium.

This would just be to host some family/friend/test kinds of pages. Nothing commercial or major at all.

We just switched to [DiscountASP.net](http://DiscountASP.net). I don’t really have an opinion on it, since my husband is the web developer and we don’t have everything up and running yet, but it was pretty cheap and he did some research before selecting them.

We use [Crystaltech](http://www.crystaltech.com/), and their .Net hosting is apparently very good. Unfortunately as most of our stuff is classic ASP or Java-based I’m probably not the right person to ask.
