# Recommend an E-Reader for Comic Books...

What’s a decent E-Reader, kinda on the cheap side ('cause I’m $-challenged) for reading Comic-Books in pdf format? Doesn’t absolutely have to be full size (6 3/4" x 10 1/4") but not a whole lot less, or the dialogue balloons wouldn’t be readable…

Does it make sense to get a “dumb reader,” or is it wiser to pay more for an actual smart tablet? Who’s tried this and is happy with theirs?

Oh, yeah, weight is also an issue, for reading comfort…

I’m assuming you want color so that rules out the low-end e-ink (monchrome) ereaders. I would probably go with a tablet. Try to find one that supports [cbr](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comic_book_archive) (the comic book archive) file type in addition to pdf.
