I have a user who’s going to be in Mumbai for a few weeks, and I’m trying to find out how I would get him online. He travels a lot, so an ISP with as many international connections as possible would be optimal.

Anyone have experience connecting in hotel rooms worldwide? I appeal to the great oracle that is the Straight Dope readership to fill in this gaping hole in my knowledge.

[Here’s](http://www.isp-for-free.com/isp/World/Asia/India/) a list of free ISPs in India. Hope this helps.
