# Recommend cheap contact lenses?

I hit my insurance limit so have to pay cash. Most places I’ve found are right around $90 a box. Hoping to find cheaper of course. They’re the Air Optix Night and Day of it matters.

I’m no help here. My contacts have always outstripped my insurance by a huge amount, so I’ve just sucked it up.

The one thing that I did do that was helpful was convince my optometrist that we didn’t need to change them bi-weekly. She agreed, since I didn’t have any issue and have good contact hygiene, and now I’ve moved to monthly changes. Seems to work just fine, and I halved my contact expenses in one fell swoop.

I wear the 30 day ones. Same script so one box lasts 3 months. Just trying to lessen the cost
