# Recommend me a movie?

I’m trying to find a movie to take a friend to. Taking a look at listings, it seems that everything out these days is zany, action-oriented, or for kids. The most sophisicated thing I could find was Tower Heist.
Is there anything playing that’s for adults?

_In Time_, _The Rum Diary_, _The Ides of March_, and _Moneyball_ all appear to be movies for adults.

_Ides of March_ looks good. The first two look a little… basically, if I couldn’t take my mother to it, it’s not a good bet. Not that it has to be antiseptic or anything, but _In Time_ is science fiction, and that wouldn’t appeal. I also wouldn’t take her to see _The Rum Diary_, for the same reason I wouldn’t take her to see _Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas_.
But my mother did recommend _Ides of March_, so that sounds like a winner. Thanks!
