I’m down to my last pair, with the end of one of the arm parts being held on with duct tape. In the past I’ve ordered these a couple times- they are a wraparound style I like, polarized, of course 100% UV protection, and they are sort of “springy” so they stay perched on top of a ball cap, which I wear a lot with sunglasses when I’m outdoors. So I like everything about these glasses, including the price… except I’ve had two pairs break in the middle after not too long. Q: Based on the one you show it looks like you don’t need over-your-glasses types. This makes a major difference in how a pair “wraps around”. ---

I like BNUS. Glass, polarized lenses. $72 for the ones I got. There are cheaper ones. Are there sunglasses that are difficult to break? Like maybe ones with a magnetic detectable hinges, (if that’d work??) or something along those lines?? they cost so much and are easy to break. Perhaps you sacrifice style in those cases? ---

Buying online is tough, too… I wouldn’t say I have a weird head or anything. In fact, I don’t look bad bald as far as I’m concerned, but anyway. You don’t want to come off lookin like a cop, if you’re me and you can help it. It’s just, when you resemble a white ‘thumb’, it’s weird to rock anything resembling **Oakley® Standard Issue™**. ---

Not an online answer exactly, but … I stop by CVS or Walgreens and try on the various cheap sunglasses from e.g. Foster Grant or Ironman. About $20-30. I have a pair I wear and one I leave in the car for the days I get out the front door without them. And a pair with a floating leash for wearing at the beach that lives in my beach gear bag. And a couple pair in reserve in a drawer at home for when I break or lose one. When my backstock gets to zero, I add “sunglasses” to the CVS/Walgreens list. Which I’ll stop by anyhow some time in the next month-ish. ---

I’ve bought a couple pairs of a style of the FG I liked, but they both broke in the middle on me after not too many wearings as well. Maybe it’s me stretching them out or something, but I don’t _think_ I have a particularly fat head or anything. Anyway, I was picking up some groceries yesterday and saw that they also had “Docker’s” brand sunglasses. I picked a pair of polarized lenses, style I liked well enough, seemed pretty sturdy. $26. ---

I have a couple of pairs of [Goodr](https://Www.goodr.com) brand sunglasses. They come in a very wide variety of colors ranging from garish/vibrant to traditional. I have a pair of black aviator lens, as well as some purple-framed glasses that are fun. They’re $25/pair, and are extremely comfortable.
