# Recommend me an Eating-Disorders doc or clinic in Manhattan

My girlfriend has finally acknowledged that she has an eating disorder. (She’s pretty much quit eating meats, doesn’t eat vegetables, and is starting to have problems with eggs and with pasta. Among other things.). She’s in her early 50s, so places (or doctors) who are myopically focused on 14 year olds would not be ideal.

This is not an acute emergency-crisis so much as a low-grade problems of long standing.

(I assume asking for Dr or clinic recommendations =/= “soliciting medical advice” or otherwise violating any guidelines here)
