or some not-so-intelligently-yet-strangely-amusing ones. (NOTE: With Bonus Question at Bottom!)
Here’s my typical taste:
[The Onion](http://wwww.theonion.com) - though I just don’t find it nearly as funny as I used to.
[Modern Humorist](http://www.modernhumorist.com/) - hit or miss
[Lileks](http://www.lileks.com/) - undeniably classic
[Washington Post Style Invitational](http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A16679-2002Oct25.html) - check the archives…this is hit or miss also but some very clever people here.
So tell me fair surfers, what else is there? What can I look forward to?
Bonus Question:
There’s a bunch of old weird-but-remarkably-funny stuff I misplaced…at least two years or so. Anyone remember the site where a guy posted his Wal-mart receipts for over two years, and surfers were invited to comment? Or the site where one women related (with actual emails) her attempts at online match-making, with funny commentary from her and her friends?
That’s also the kind of site I like to come across.

[Way Too Personal](http://www.waytoopersonal.com/) (I think this is the second “lost” link you mention) is still around but completely revamped.
I don’t see [this one](http://www.log.dial.pipex.com/playground/) mentioned much, it’s a catalogue of (British, from what I can tell) playground taunts- lots of horrible personal anecdotes from the dark, barbaric days of elementary school.

These ICQ pranks are absolutely some of the funniest stuff I’ve seen in a while. “The Smart Box” and “Space Robot Bonanza” had me in tears.
