I tend to think that most of you aren’t giving seven year olds enough credit…
I’d offer:
Groundhog Day <-- seriously
Star Wars trilogy <-- I’m male, but saw SW in the theater at 7 and LOVED IT
Superman
Back to the Future
The Wedding Singer <-- maybe? depending?
You get the point…
I found it a bit surprising but our son enjoyed Father Goose were Cary Grant is a reluctant plane-spotter in WWII and has to keep a school teacher and her young girl students safe.
Groundhog Day <-- watched this already, she hated it as much as I did.
Star Wars trilogy <-- I saw this at 7, but my daughter scares easily and we tried watching it once. Vader scared the crap out of her.
Superman<–already watched it, she liked it OK but the beginning was too slow moving and she lost interest. She liked Spider-Man much better. (I know, why is the Green Goblin OK and Darth Vader isn’t? Beats me.)
Back to the Future <<saw it a few weeks ago, she liked it.
The Wedding Singer <-- I don’t know—I don’t recall how much adult humor was in this. She knows Adam Sandler from 50 First Dates, which she liked.
