I just switched from a Galaxy SIII to a Note II (changed carriers, opted for the bigger device since I use it 95% as a tablet anyway).

I had my whole music library dumped in the S3 but never traveled much in the six months I had it - about the only time I listen. I was unhappy with the bundled Samsung ear buds because the volume seemed incredibly low. I’m not sure if it’s the phone or the buds.

Anyway, the Note did not include a bundled earset, so I am looking for recommendations on one. I’d like:
[ul]
[li]Small size (roll or wad up into a small pouch)[/li][li]Adjustable fit (replaceable gels work great)[/li][li]Wired (want neither the expense or hassle of Bluetooth)[/li][li]Full Android compatibility for calls and on-wire controller[/li][li]High volume with good to very good quality[/li][li]Preferably not Bose, Monster or another overrated brand (== 5% better than average and twice the price)[/li][/ul]
