A friend is looking for an online French course. Anybody know a good one?

Cancel the request. But I found the Foreign Service Institute’s [complete language courses](https://fsi-languages.yojik.eu/) online, if anyone is interested.

there are a lot of options - my library lets me use Rosetta Stone for free, for example. 🙂

My wife prefers Pimsleur to Rosetta for her Polish lessons. She looked at Duolingo, but didn’t care for the format. I recommended French in Action, the old Capretz system that was used when I was in the Foreign Service, to our friend and she’s going to check it out.

I’ve become a fan of Duolingo, but I can see where it wouldn’t appeal to everyone.
