Hi, I have Photoshop Elements that I like for editing, but I’m looking for an alternative to its organising software. Any recommendations?

For free, I don’t think anything beats Picasa.

On the strength of this thread, I hooked it up.

As an album displayer, it is very good.

To just hot link to a single picture to insert in a post, it is a bit cumbersome and slow. It does have lots of room and I really like the Linux interface, I have been wanting something for my ‘Ubuntu’ machine. This works good.

For doing single picture ‘hot links’ I prefer other sites that upload and download faster for me and you and I have found nothing that will work pictures as fast and easy as ‘IrfanView’ for the type of posting I do. Unfortunately it works in Windows and has no Linux version. ☹

YMMV
