G-Force was pretty good and Vampire hunter D rules.
Just remember that a lot of good anime has been spoiled by lousy dubbing so it’s occasionally better to go with subtitled versions.
I’m a big fan of adult anime, i.e., hentai, though I prefer those that have substantive plots. Adult anime are not like adult movies in the U.S. You don’t go from mainstream stuff to nonstop sex. It’s more of an incremental thing, with some hentai having strong plots and production values, and some being a lot like American XXX film, only in cartoon form and with a lot more kink in them. In fact, the people who made Tenchi Muyo have also made a hentai (not using the Tenchi Muyo characters, although the male lead is very much an older version of Tenchi). There’s no prejudice concerning sexuality in Japan – the hentai by the Tenchi Muyo crew isn’t anything they’re ashamed of, or need to be ashamed of.
I won’t recommend any hentai here as they haven’t been specifically requested, but if anyone wants to know about some of them with stronger plotlines, I’ll be glad to spill.
I will recommend Hellsing, a favorite of my wife’s, an anime that should appeal to most Vampire Hunter D fans, which has some nice animation, an interesting storyline, and some truly kickass background music.
Put me down as another fan of Spirited Away. Although I admire the animation in Studio Ghibli’s other works, their stories didn’t interest me, but Spirited Away has a great story and a certain invetiveness that reminds me strongly of Tim Powers’ fantasy novels.
I’d be interested in something that focuses on say, pairings instead of groups, if you get my drift. I’m not saying it would have to be all romantic and gooey, just something that isn’t “the whole cast goes for it” if that’s not too blunt.
Sorry if I’m being naive here, I’m just only familiar with hentai in doujinshi (fan comics) where you definitely can get that kind of thing.

I’ve spilled on the “What Is Hentai?” thread in Cafe Society, which seems more appropriate. Why limit myself? Besides, hentai quite commonly contain nonconsensual sexual bondage imagery, it’s hard to spill n that regard. Though Tales of Titillation is a lto of fun and contains little or no bondage imagery, as does Mai Mai Masseuse.
