(This is an instrumental titled after a small town south of San Francisco that consists almost entirely of cemeteries. The perfect accompaniment to a chilly fog-shrouded night in late October.) – **Mind Playin’ Tricks on Me** by Geto Boys (if only for its trippy feel and the part that begins, "Last year Halloween fell on a weekend…) ---

“Totentanz” - Liszt If you’re going to get “With Her Head Tucked Underneath Her Arm”, look for Stanley Holloway’s performance, the best IMHO. Dr. Demento always does a Halloween show. Well, I don’t know the artist, but this past Halloween the local community radio station (KFAI, Minneapolis) played a track called “The Creature Stole My Surfboard”. Very catchy, and seems appropriate for a collection intended to sidetrack spring with an appropriately ghoulish feel. 🆒 Also, there is a Concrete Blonde track about vampires. I don’t recall the title right now, but I can look it up and post when I get home from work. ---
