If you haven’t investigated My Bloody Valentine you might want to give them a try. Start at Isn’t Anything and the two associated untitled singles (untitled, yet otherwise known as “You Made Me Realise” and “Feed Me With Your Kiss”) and you get good late 80s guitar driven indie pop. Then go into Loveless and the two EPs released before it and you’ll get the “Sigur Ros with a beat” you said you were looking for.
Also you said you liked “post-rock, lounge-core, hip-hop and some techno,” and didn’t necessarily rule out metal, so I’ll name Godflesh as a band you might enjoy. They started out doing grindcore-ish metal but by their last album it became mostly straight-forward rock. Through the 90’s they incorporated hip-hop, techno, and drum 'n bass from time to time while keeping the guitars in the front (didn’t notice any lounge-core in it though). Godflesh got me interested in metal, and when I found out they they were unique and that most other metal was crap, I liked 'em even more.
