I use [CNN.com](http://CNN.com) for my online news, but I am not very satisfied. I’m basically looking for good news sites that cover everything (National, International, Technology, Business…). I like BBC a lot but obviously it isn’t an American site so for National news and such it is lacking. Also, I don’t mind if I have to subscribe, just no pay sites.

Here are a few other options:

[Fox News](http://www.foxnews.com/)
[Atlanta Journal Constitution](http://www.ajc.com/)

And of course, for the lighter side of news: [Fark](http://www.fark.com)

Independent Media perhaps? It certainly has the international part covered.

[Google](http://news.google.com/) is the only way to go. It’s quick to get several views of a given story.

I will second Fark. Frankly, it is the only news source that doesn’t make me totally depressed the rest of the day and it comforts me to know that there are other people out there with the same sense of morbid humor regarding Big Important World Events.

From Aussie I particularly enjoy surfing through here and seeing what is going on down under. It has links to area newspapers as well as NZ and Tasmanian stuff. Which intrigues me.
