Survivors - Series about UK survivors of a plague that killed most people. It’s not a sci-fi show, it does get more about drama than survival in places but I loved the setting, characters, and plot. Also if you like comedy I will second/third/fourth the recommendation for Archer and The IT Crowd. Both are hilarious. ---

I also watched [Hyperdrive](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0481449/) about a year and a half back or so. I thought it was pretty funny, though not a spectacular show. ---
