Recommendations of bike tour companies?

Just back this morning (came in on the red eye).

It was fantastic! Anyone who has not seen and hiked in both Bryce and Zion should. Cycling was just gravy.

It was a small group, two couples (all four interesting and pleasant people) and me. And the guide with the van of course.

For the cycling portions the couples tended to stay together with the strongest cyclist, one of the husbands, typically hanging back with his wife. I am, as described above, clearly not “a cyclist”, but someone who cycles a bit as part of an overall mix. By cyclist standards it’s been established I’d be dropped regularly by most clubs. Still for the standards of this trip I was the fast one. Oh there were short segments the serious cyclist rode with me and pulled me a bit, or left me trying to catch up, last segment of the day, or first and then doubling back to ride the rest with his wife, but this is definitely a trip that an intermediate recreational cyclist with a reasonable fitness base can handle, with plenty of options for a someone who wants to go harder and/or farther to be challenged by. It was also as much a trip hiking and scrambling as biking. Angel’s Landing and The Narrows in Zion were particular blasts and the long morning hike in and out of Bryce among the hoodoos and arches was breathtaking. (And some of the long steep inclines got breathtaking too!)

Great food, great hotels, great support.

Sadly my wife had to deal with our remaining older dog suddenly decompensating and having to put out of what was sudden severe misery without me there while I was away and hard to reach. So I felt a small bit guilty having such fun.

I can’t vouch for the other companies but this was done well.
