> The one that stands out to me, though, is Leigh French, who did the “Share a Little Tea with Goldie” bits on _ **The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour** _.

I can see pre-Meathead Rob Reiner doing the sketch too.

> Tom Smothers and Tiny Tim were on this [July 10, 1968](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6080788/reference) ep with an improv group called ‘The Committee,’ so that’s probably the sketch.

And thank you for saying “sketch” instead of “skit.” 🙂

> If Tiny Tim was on the show, that would place it around 1969, probably too late for May and Nichols. Maybe Stiller and Meara? :dubious: 😕

I don’t know and have often wondered whether it could have been either pair. Doubtful because, like I said, they weren’t invited onto the couch after their bit, which was usually the case for an “up and coming” singer or comic who is not yet established and even Stiller and Meara were pretty well known by then.

Going by the roster in the link, my money would be on Reiner and French. Maybe we should e-mail them and ask about it? :dubious:

If we can do it for Al Traina, why not for this? 🆒
