A question like this has probably been asked on this site before, but i must have over looked it or missed it when using search. Alright, last nite i spilled red wine on some Docker Stain-Defending khaki pants. (However, I think the stain-defender was taking the nite off b/c the pants absorbed the wine just as fast as a sponge.) Immediately after, I decided to put dawn dish detergent on the stain to maybe keep the stain from really setting in. Today I washed the pants and now where there were red stains now have a blackish looking stain in place of it. I did not dry the pants after the wash. Now onto the actual question. How can I get the stain out of the pants now? Oh, and the pants are 60% cotton and 40% micropoly Thanks for the help. ---

had a run in with red wine not too long ago, and I found a remedy on-line that worked perfectly. Soak stained part of clothing in hydrogen peroxide with dishwashing liquid, then rub together. I’ll try to find the site for more specifics. ---

aloha; If the previous method doesn’t work try bleach in cold water (0.5 cups of bleach in a sink of water). if that doesn’t work try hotter and hotter bleach/water combos. This works for anything. To be on the safe side make sure the item is soaking wet before you place it in the bleach/water mix. Otherwise you could get spotting. ---

White wine. It actually works, by diluting it. No chemicals needed either. ---
