Redesign the Human Body

I meant “night vision”! No more icky cataracts or any other visual distortions.

Some kind of shutdown method to expedite the death process. When it’s time to check out, activate the sequence and relax. No pain, horrors, misery. Just a nice efficient fade out.

Oooh, ooooh! I soooo want a giant squirrel tail!

At least one detachable arm so that I could sleep on my side without messing up my shoulder.

Hair that continues to grow where it grew when you were 20, and no where else, would be a real plus.

I’d eliminate the baby toe because it gets hung up on everything.

Far higher IQ.

Also a diagnostic slot, so that if anything goes wrong you just plug in a reader and it tells you what is wrong (like cars have). An OBD2.

Also no more pain. Some other ‘stick’ mechanism to teach us not to do destructive things. Instead of pain, maybe severe fatigue. If you do something damaging you get severe fatigue and hear a very annoying sound. If it is something you cannot stop, you do not get the punishments.

Also I’d make us less submissive to authority, but also with a higher baseline of compassion for sentient creatures.

This one is mine. Like the replaceable teeth and eyes that don’t go bad. Also the No Cancer. And the built in euthanasia option. The detachable arm one has been on my mind for years.

Seconded the multiple pairs of arms, extended visual spectrum, and titanium teeth!

Fingertips that somehow also function as eyes with decent acuity for distance and good acuity up very close. Have to reach into a tight space to retrieve something? You could see every particle of dust. Weird creeper following you on the sidewalk? Simply curl your fingers on a dangling hand and keep tabs on the person’s every move.

Gills for breathing underwater. Especially if they also allow breathing chlorine, not just oxygen.

Come to think of it, seconding the wings too.
