Yeah sure, running into him in as many threads as I do, I often throw a disparaging remark or two his way – AFAIK, this behavior is normally rescinded to The Pit. And here we are, in this, the latest episode of his never-ending drive for attention. Christ, the fucker makes Bette Midler look like an amateur Drama Queen. Gets pitted more than an olive and yet it’s always someone else’s fault. Along the way, we hear endless promises of ‘change, regret, getting off Jesus’message,’and endless other drivel. Wash, lather, rinse, repeat. Which was exactly the extent of my participation in that thread up to the message that landed me here. Call me Captain Obvious. With me so far? Good, there’s more. I am being pitted for being “petty, vicious, and utterly devoid of compassion,” ironically, the very characteristics that I find define many of **Lib’s** posts when anyone ‘dare’point out to him that he’s behaving like an asshole. See the referenced thread for example. Pot, motherfuckin’kettle. Specifically, the charge has to do with **Lib’s** startling confession. Namely that he is a gone…which we’ve since come to learn means that a man my age, has a myriad of physical problems. :::faints::: Hell, with my family legacy of cancer and heart disease and my cholesterol count being what it is (despite medication), I’m rather fortunate to be up this morning. So called “bullshit!” and “irrelevant” on his gambit. Guess what? I still do. Far be it for me to wish anyone here ill, but by the same token, I don’t much get attached to bytes on a screen. I only need look at my cancer-riddled mother to get a dose of hard-core suffering in living color – and if that is not enough, living as I do, in a Third World country, a quick ride through the streets, filled with some of the most gruesome images of pain and injustice you can ever imagine, more than fills my quota for suffering. Doesn’t mean I wish **Lib** any harm, never said so either. Quite the contrary, may he live an extended lifetime (or two in his case), but again, both the circumstances of his announcement and his well-known propensity to climb on the cross every time he is taken to task, more than justifies, in my view, the reponse given. Given all the above, you’re respectfully invited to eat my shorts. You’ll be happy to know that I feel a turd coming.
