How many pairs (or triplets, etc.) of places with the same name have you been to? Translations are ok, but let’s not use streets or rivers or bodies of water, though. I’ve been to: Toledo, Ohio and Toledo, Spain. London, UK and London, Ontario. St. Louis, Missouri and St. Louis, Michigan and Ile St-Louis, Paris. Athens, Greece and Athens, Ohio. Montpelier, Vermont and Montpelier, France. Salisbury, Long Island and Salisbury, England. Greenwich, England, Greenwich, Connecticut, and Greenwich Village, NYC. Hyde Park, NY and Hyde Park, London, UK. Oakland, NJ and Oakland, CA. Soho, NYC and Soho, London Quartier Latin, Paris and Quartier Latin, Montreal. ---

In keeping with the border town theme, I’ve been in Texarkana, Arkansas and Texarkana, Texas and Niagara Falls, New York and Niagara Falls, Ontario. On non-adjacent towns, I’ve been to Burlington, Vermont and Burlington, Ontario and I’ve driven through Burlington, New Jersey (but I’ve never been to Burlington, Iowa or Burlington, North Carolina). I’ve been to the Berlins in Maine, New Hampshire, and New York but not to the one in Germany. I’ve been to Waterbury, Connecticut and Waterbury, Vermont. I’ve been to Albion, New York and Albion, New York. (Yes, there are two different towns named Albion in New York. They’re about a hundred miles apart.) ---
