# Referencing other threads or sites

Okay, once more for the idiot.  
How do I do the “Go Here” thing when referencing another thread or website or whatever?  
You know, so the blue link says “this thread” instead of “[straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.blah-blah-blah](http://straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.blah-blah-blah)”  
Speak verrrry slowly and pretend I’m five.
