# Registering another doper

My wife would like to join the SDMB but I don’t know how to get her registered. When I click on “want to register” all it does is tell me that I’m already registered. How do I get her on with her own user name?

Clear your cookies. The board is checking to see if this machine has already registed by storing your username and password on the machine.

Not that you’re question hasn’t already been answered, but to mention that my SO and I are both registered here and both post here from the same computer.
Sailor is correct. All we have to do is go to the main page and log out so the other can log in. Alternatively, once the other username is set up, once you click on “reply”, you can change the username and password at the top of the reply page. This logs in the new user, and puts everything to that persons settings.
(I changed the time showing to be in OUR timezone, and have posts from the last 10 days showing, so I notice who’s logged in and who’s not right away).
