I’ve often thought that it’s rare for an actress to be funny and sexy in the same role.[sup]\*[/sup] Any actress who needs to see how it’s done should just watch Teri Garr in this movie.

- Partly because we too often conflate “funny” with “stupid”, I think. Might make for an interesting thread.

Also, watch Boyle’s face while he’s ‘strangling’ Wilder and Wilder is trying to charade “Sed-a-give” to his useless assistants. He’s really corpsing there.

Huh. Never noticed that before. 10-Q veddy much.  
And I saw what you did there with “corpsing.”

BTW and as I’m sure you (Satchmo) already know, the DVD’s have wonderful outtakes of Marty Feldman making Gene Wilder blow take after take of various scenes.

And a rousing “Ditto!” about the brilliance of having Weektore’s initial glee making Ze Monster nervous.
