Atheist. My parents were raised Catholic but they both lost their taste for religion while my dad was in VietNam. They encouraged me to try different religions and decide what I really want to believe. ---

Lutheran (ELCA). Probably would have drifted away, but the pastor at my church is a great speaker, and doesn’t try to bully people into believing (no threats of hell). I come away each week with the message: just be a fundamentally decent person, and things’ll be alright. ---

What do you call someone who is utterly without any thoughts toward religion? I was raised without any reference to religion. I don’t believe in a man in the heavens or an afterlife, but I can’t say I’ve put enough thought into it to declare myself anything. ---
