**Ellis Dee** , I think it’s related to [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=257926). I was raised Roman Catholic, but nowadays I’m mostly a vague theist. I believe in God, but everything after that is just window dressing. Basically, I think most religions have some merit, and that none of us can ever really know what God is. ---
