Just to modify what **Zoe** said, it was never removed from the KJV – it’s merely that (a) most Protestants do not use the Apocrypha as Scripture, and they constitute the majority of KJV users, and (b) two English societies devoted to printing the Bible were restricted by their charters from including the Apocrypha in their editions of the KJV (or any other version). But it was translated in the original KJV and has never been officially lifted by anybody with legal sanction to do so from the KJV as a whole (distinguishing the right of the SBC, for example, to publish the KJV without Apocrypha if it so chooses, without affecting others’ right to publish it _with_ Apocrypha if they so choose, from the authority of Parliament prior to 1776 to decide what would be in the KJV Bible for all English-speaking people). ---

So seriously, in the Mormon religion (and my apologies for ignorance, I only vaguely know some idea of being married forever to your spouse and starting your own world and populating it with your own spirit children) what’s the deal for people who are widowed and remarried? ---

**Considering Jesus started the Catholic Church, I can hardly see how Catholics could be “un-Christian”…** He must have still been under the influence of the myrrh at the time. Don’t the Eastern Orthodox church make the same claim, as well as the Coptic, Armenian, and Nestorian churches? ---

Going by that “logic,” Orb, then your church claims it was founded by Peter, not Jesus. Clearly you do not see the distinction between the founder of a church and the founder of the religion. ---

Did you not read that last part about Jesus saying He would build His Church upon Peter? Jesus founded the Catholic Church and Christianity since without Him there wouldn’t be Christians. ---

However, if you don’t wish to discuss or debate how things have changed in the composition of the various extant churches over the last 20 centuries, then do me the honor to _shut up_ about the claims of your personal denomination. If, on the other hand, you want to talk reason about your views and mine and how they differ, then open a thread to that effect, and let’s stop hijacking one on the question of remarriage. Well If you want to say that Jesus is to blame for the sins of some priests, then why not go ahead and say that Jesus is to blame for Eveyone’s sins?! But I will grant you that one statement about hijacking this thread…I admit I did hijack it, but where was anyone discussing “how things have changed in the compisition of the various extant churches over the last 20 centuries” before my hijack? And just to clarify what you said “the claims of your personal denomination”… if denomination=sect and a [sect](http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=sect) is a group of people forming a distinct unit within a larger group by virtue of certain refinements or distinctions of belief or practice. Obviously the Catholic Church could not be a denomination since it is the fulfillment of Juddaism and was present long before a sect came. (just clarifying, not meaning to make another hijack) ---
