Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light [http://www.ussartf.org/images/ATT390715.jpg](http://www.ussartf.org/images/ATT390715.jpg) What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming? [http://www.bobbyshred.com/images/moonwtc2.jpg](http://www.bobbyshred.com/images/moonwtc2.jpg) And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air [![](http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_9F5RAk30cJ0/TI6WVDtm8rI/AAAAAAAAAXc/bfET676Xmr8/s400/Twin+Towers.jpg) ](http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_9F5RAk30cJ0/TI6WVDtm8rI/AAAAAAAAAXc/bfET676Xmr8/s400/Twin+Towers.jpg) Gave proof through the night…THAT OUR FLAG WAS STILL THERE! [http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ladyejane/911-12-flag.JPG](http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ladyejane/911-12-flag.JPG) Oh, say does that Star-Spangled Banner yet wave, [![](http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lhP_ly6oQGI/TcMPVu_iIgI/AAAAAAAAFUw/YdvbZ-GVI2Y/s1600/GZ+Flag.jpg) ](http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lhP_ly6oQGI/TcMPVu_iIgI/AAAAAAAAFUw/YdvbZ-GVI2Y/s1600/GZ+Flag.jpg) For the land of the free, and the home of the brave! [Paul Simon playing _The Sound of Silence_](http://www.rollingstone.com/videos/new-and-hot/paul-simon-the-sound-of-silence-at-9-11-memorial-20110911) at the NY service. He had originally planned to play _Bridge Over Troubled Water._ A moving performance. But what gets me is the TV network that recorded this felt obligated to include a continuous mundane news crawl…“Man charged with manslaughter following the death of a Wales football fan outside Wembly Stadium…” ☹ ---
