I wouldn’t say the Roto Rooter one is “old” as it pops up again every now and then. Of course, the cigarette jingles are old because advertising cigarettes on TV has been illegal for over 40 years. Here’s another one: “A Silly Millimeter Longer” Benson & Hedges 100s, which were called 101s as they were 101mm long Here’s a non-cigarette one: “See the USA in your Chevrolet” - a San Francisco area Chevrolet dealer personalized it (“See Ellis Brooks today for your Chevrolet, corner of Bush and Van Ness” - IIRC, he offered five pounds of coffee if you could find a better deal). ---

Recently I was watching a youtube video of two guys playing a recent video game and for no reason one of them started singing “Get your skis shined up, grab a stick of Juicy Fruit” and it was like opening a floodgate of memories in my mind. ---
