It was a Tank fighting game that came out in the 90s. Details [here](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tank_Wars). I loved this game and in College we played it for literally hours and hours. Anyone know if there is an Android version? I searched and came up empty.

Yeah. A spirtual successor/parallel is [_Scorched Earth_](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scorched_Earth_%28video_game%29). The “See also” has more I’m not familiar with. Later on, the [Worms series](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worms_%28series%29) became popular. I know that that has Android versions. The main difference is that the worms can freely move, subject to terrain.
