Rest in peace, Reeder. You were a hell of a lot of fun to disagree with and even though you were over the top sometimes (or even most of the time), the world is a sadder place without knowing you’re there somewhere. ---

**debiannj** , you wrote a nice tribute to a good friend. I feel I know **Reeder** a bit better now (I didn’t realize he had served in Vietnam). Linking to those threads gave me a clearer picture of him–I had actually confused him in my memory with another Doper–and I tend to agree with him in essentials. I will do my part to keep my government accountable to me and mine, as we all should. How old are his kids? ☹ ---
