I got the wrong board once. I was using it up on our roof, and fired a nail gun into it and it split, one half sprang up using our weathervane as a fulcrum, and broke the elderly neighbor’s attic window. She wasn’t aware that she had a family of Civil War re-enacters living up there, and they opened fire with a fusillade of long rifles and blunderbusses, which took out most of our kitchen. And our gas stove. The natural gas caught fire and we had to run in and try to get the Great Grand-Dowager-Duchess (long story) in her iron lung out through the back door. Our pet miniature pony made it out, but its tail was on fire as it galloped through the neighborhood, and we now have to rebuild my best friend’s finger-painting studio or face small claims court. And he’s rescinded our invitation to his cabin, a cabin that we helped rebuild after his genetically-modified lemurs tried to fortify it as an armed compound (after reading about the Bundy family). If we can’t get up to his cabin for bomb-a-palooza, what’ll we do with the thirty pounds of black powder we have… uh, oh, in a kitchen cabinet, I gotta go! So, glad you double-checked, dolphinboy.
