What’s wrong with then Washington Reds? Or does the team have different colours than Red? Redskins is supposedly bad since it’s offensive, cultural appropriation and inaccurate. How about “Redskin-Killers” since that’s merely only offensive, it’s only a third as bad and actually is a pretty accurate depiction of Washington culture and history ---

I understood “Skin” is also a racial slur. But on the other hand it is not listed in the [Racial Slur Database](http://rsdb.org/). ---

I think they should stick with Washington Football Team. For their racist fans, it doesn’t give us PC folks the satisfaction of renaming their team; for us PC folks we don’t have the Redskins anymore. And let’s be honest, the merchandise sales would be through the roof. EVERYONE WINS!!! And to be honest, the W logo is cool. ---

Been hearing the Washington Donald T. Sterlings\*, which does have a totally nice, smooth-as-silk ring to it. \*racist buddy who used to own the Clippers and looks like he ate Mike Wallace’s face. I’m concerned Snyder just might get monstrously unhinged and blow a gasket (or as Shelly Winters in _The Tenant_ once said - “have a brainstorm or something”) and frothingly lash back at all the criticism he’s been getting about the name, and just lay into everyone and go rogue with “right - they’re now the Washington Wigwam Wipeout” or “ok then, assholes, they’re now the Washington Skinned, Raw, Festering, Tobacco Store Indians…suck on that.” We can hope he won’t be that rash, but a man can break sometimes under surprising circumstances. Personally, I’d hope they’d go for something more like: Washington Patagonians The Washington Fortran Washington Trudeaus ---

Trust me the NFL wont let him come up with another inappropriate name. Its also not in Daniel Snyder’s best business interest to do so.
