I’d also like to see the forum renamed, but only because the new title is so darned long! “Everyday Life”, “Stuff I Must Share”, or even “Et Cetera” would all be fine. “Somewhat Harmless Interesting Things” … :wally If we’re going to do that, should we then rename GQ to “For Ubiquitous Cecil Knowledge”? GD to “Debating Amongst Many Nabobs”? CS to “Cinema, Reality, And Performances”? Say, this is kind of fun … ---

Maybe this is a bad idea - but maybe not. Lets look at the list of forums from a detached perspective. Its a pretty big list if you think about it. It definitely takes a newbie several months to get accustomed (this _is_ a good thing IMHO 🙂 ). Now lets look at forum titles and descriptions and what they could be: **Mundane Pointless Stuff I Must Share (MPSIMS)** “What’s your favorite …?” For frank exchanges of views on less-than-cosmic topics. This is also the place for polling. \*\* In My Humble Opinion \*\* For general discussion: from frivolous chatter to deep thoughts; from harmless diversions to life-changing announcements. Have The Powers That Be ever discussed, even frivolously, getting rid of Mundane Pointless Stuff I Must Share and just merging it with In My Huble Opinion? ---

How about **General Questions _Lite_**? Description: THE place to go when you want to get answers to questions that _don’t_ require a new proof of the Schrödinger Equation. (unlike that _other_ General Questions site). 😃 ---

Folks, there’s just too much history wrapped up in MPSIMS. We’re not going to change it.
