# Renaming the planet Earth?

To be honest I think the enemy race in the movie is terribly written/motivated, and the movie suffers hugely because of that. But Korso and Preed alone make it worth a rewatch every year. It’s one of my favorites but it really doesn’t deserve it.

I agree that it’s a weakness in the film that their motivation is not shown more explicitly. We can infer it pretty easily, but a couple of minutes of exposition could have improved matters substantially. It’s still one of my favorite animated films, though–the story is good, the characters are fun, and there are lots of really great moments. (Including the one we’re quoting. :D)
