There is no precedent. Regardless of the veracity of any tales about Caligula’s horse, that was the _Senate_, not the House. ---

Nitpick: It’s not so much an exception or hole, as it is that the method of vacancy filling for the House is _constitutionally mandated differently_ as for the Senate. But getting that wrong **does not** disqualify someone from expressing their disgust with the former and future holders of the seat. ---

D\_Anconia somewhat reminds me of Milton from the film _Office Space_. Milton was always muttering about his stapler and insisting he could play his radio “at a reasonable volume” as if anyone gave a shit. Everyone just basically dismissed him because it was irrelevant, unimportant crap. I just imagine DA hunched over in a cubicle, mumbling about replacing members of Congress and how he could burn down the whole board if he wanted to. ---
