# Rep. Duncan Hunter to plead guilty to campaign finance violations

Duncan Hunter will enter a [guilty plea](https://www.politico.com/news/2019/12/02/rep-duncan-hunter-to-change-not-guilty-plea-on-campaign-finance-violations-074763) tomorrow in his campaign finance case. He’s accused of spending at least a quarter million dollars of campaign money on personal expenses including vacations and at least five (!) mistresses. Dude knows how to live, that’s for sure. His wife has already pleaded guilty and agreed to be a prosecution witness. That’s gotta hurt.
No details on the substance of the plea deal yet.

Apparently all the while during this, he was charged overdraft fees six times on his personal checking account. :smack:
Alright, you had a good run of it. Seriously - it takes skill to be a great con man. Hey, at least you were wasting the money of Republican donors. OK - wait, wait, actually, is there any way we could let this guy stay in office?

This time 45 and Fox have a different avenue available: they can simply yell about “corrupt Hunter” without specifying if that’s a first or last name.
