I note with glee that this is the very same harridan who was challenged by a returning Iraq war veteran in a presumed “safe” Republican district. A veteran who ran largely (according to reports/distortions) on a platform of “Bush Bites It!” and came within a whisker of carrying this “safe” seat. In the words of St. Robert of Hibbing: “Its a hard rain’s gonna fall”. ---

Yesterday I saw a short clip on some news show in which Rep Murtha said that Schmidt had sent him a letter of apology and that he accepted it. That’s completely unfair! She calls him a coward on the floor of the House with the cameras rolling, but she apologizes privately??!! ---

If he can get past Brown in the primaries Hackett’s painted a big ol’ target on Mike DeWine next year, too. ---
