# Reparations

Does anyone know what companies would be potential targets for lawyers looking for reparations as a result of slavery issues. I can’t imagine there are that many that go back to the 1860’s still around. Just curious

Well, according to the [suit](http://www.washtimes.com/national/20020327-636450.htm) that probably prompted this question, there are over 1,000 such companies. The plaintiff’s, however, have only named Aetna, Fleet Bank, and CSX Railroad.
